The man behind the quilts. I mean that literally. @bylsmamark is the master of standing outside in freezing, windy & rainy weather & holding quilts so I can take photos before sending them home. I figured y’all should see his face instead of just glimpses of his lovely calves & occasional sandals in socks (I try to crop em out, but sometimes forget). ... Mark’s patience, support & upper body strength (cause I tell ya, quilts get mighty heavy after awhile) have been essential in all I do. 31 more caps ready for buttons. As I mentioned the other day, I’m not used to assembly line sewing. I think the last time I did any kind of sewing like that it was making toys as loot for my son’s birthday party (they were Chewie’s if I remember correctly). It feels like a bit of a slog, but so worth it when you finally get to the last step and suddenly end up with a bunch of items ready to go.
