Happy Spring Equinox! Meet one of our newest partners - Silver Sage Flora from Three Forks, BC (near New Denver). Plan to visit Silver Sage Flora this summer for a garden tour and to visit the Flower Cellar, the farms gift shop carved from the mountainside, the last standing structure of the mining town. Visits are by appointment only! Book now to avoid disappointment. Tour dates are limited. ~ https://www.silversageflora.com ... At the corner of Silver and Quartz street grows a mountain flower farm over the forgotten mining town of Three Forks, British Columbia. The miners may all be gone, but the entrepreneurial spirit lives on through the ghost towns two local businesses. Silver Sage Flora and Kootenay Kustoms. Richard and Melanie first purchased the property of Three Forks, just a few kilometres from New Denver BC, on the recognized lands of the Sinixt Nation, in 2017. Since then, Silver Sage Flora has grown from a few flowers and a dream to a fully operational cut flower farm and gift shop serving the local markets and villages. The farm runs seasonally from June-September and invites visitors, by appointment, to tour the gardens and shop the Flower Cellar. The Flower Cellar, carved from the mountainside, is the oldest, and last standing original 1890’s structure left in Three Forks. Melanie’s artisan wares, brooms, baskets and pottery fill the Flower Cellar’s shelves. While fresh floral notes of Lavender hang in the air, inviting you to explore this magical little gem, right in the heart of the Silvery Slocan Valley. See more
