The wired camera package includes 4 cameras (Mpix-30IRBF) and a Network Video Recorder (ENM-04POE-1T). I have used these cameras outdoors in an industrial setting. They are robust enough to handle our climate and, for... example: are able to read rail car numbers at night at a distance of 70'. The NVR recorder allows you to view your cameras from anywhere you have access to the internet and has 1TB of storage space. With 1TB and 4 cameras you will have just shy of 2 months worth of video. I like these systems because its a stand alone system and does not require a monthly subscription. As well the system will be unaffected if the manufacturer decides to go in a different direction as in the case of the Revolv (a branch manufacturer of a larger a Smart Home company) which will become useless in the middle of May.
