Our Clients are Important to Us The current situation with COVID -19 continues to evolve on a daily basis and we are very aware that we are facing unprecedented... times. In order to be socially responsible and do our part in Flattening the Curve in slowing down the advance of this virus we regrettably are canceling the remaining classes on Thursday, March 19th, Saturday, March 21st and also for at least the next 5 weeks. We will continue to re-evaluate the situation at the end of the 5 weeks and determine how or when to move forward from there. Even though we have been assured by both Health BC and Health Canada that we are at very low risk as our groups are small and contact is minimal it is none the less still a social gathering of sorts. The safety of our staff and students are of utmost importance so we feel this is the best course of action at this time. You will receive credit for this last class when the next set of lessons commences. AKA Finn...owner is Bob Banzet and family.Finn won the breed..was Best of Winners and also got a Group 4 placement in the sporting dog group all under judge Philip John at the Pacific Kennel Club show on Friday Many thanks to Michelle..Jen and Vienna of team Yeadon who always bring our the best in our crew. Also a thank you to Lindsay a handler from our neighbors to the south who stepped in to also lend a hand at showing Finn in the ring We are very proud of Finn's accomplishment

On July 14th at 11 years and 1 month, we also lost our Kaillie, Kulalani’s California Girl CGN. She was a 3rd generation Kulalani and her grandmother Abby was one of our original foundation females that started our breeding journey under the Kulalani Goldens name. Kaillie will always be known for her quiet and gentle demeanor with just a hint of mischief if things got too dull and boring around the house. Like her mother Launi and grandmother she could always make you laugh ...if things were too serious. She loved to jump up on the couch and roll around or lay on her back with all 4 feet in the air doing her exercises and growling with each leg extension. Kaillie was a very late bloomer in the obedience world and in the past 2 years got her CGN, Pre CD and 2 legs of her CD under the guiding hand of handler and friend Carolyn Bray. She was also our resident puppy sitter and was only too happy to play in our back yard and wouldn’t hesitate to give a gentle scolding to any puppy whose manners were not quite up to her standard. She was also a member of our 4 paws Drill team and just last month preformed at the one of the Seniors residences in White Rock. She was quick to extend a paw or just sit quietly while one or several of the residents petted her or even wanted a hug. We will miss her dearly. This is our 3rd loss this year but unfortunately it is one of the draw backs of having several older dogs all in the same age range. I think we have had enough crossings over that damn rainbow bridge for this year. Enough we say. Enough!!!!

It is with a heavy heart and even greater sadness that we acknowledge the passing of 2 of our dear Kulalani Goldens in the past 10 days. Even though his heart and spirit were strong, his body was just not equal to the task. On July 3rd, 2018, at the age of 13 years old, Tucker Kulalani’s I Believe in Luv passed over that Rainbow Bridge to join his other Kulalani siblings and relatives. He was the oldest survivor of a litter of 8 from mother Luna, CH CreeksideFrm’s It Had ...to be You and a Finish dad, O’ Morion Prime Suspect.. AKA Pele. Tucker got a late start at agility at the age of 4 but it took no time at all for him to catch on what he was supposed to do. He achieved several AAC and CKC titles before he was forced into retirement due to the bad back of his handler who could no longer keep up with him. His passion for running the course in the wildest of fashion and as fast as he could was a pleasure to watch. His body was long and he usually was off to the next obstacle with his front end before his back end had finished the obstacle he was on. He was not the best of swimmers but thoroughly enjoyed his lake time and retrieving his bumper every summer at Banbury Green Campground in Penticton. His happiness and smile will be greatly missed. Day 21 today... weights are all over 4 lbs 3 ozs... they are starting to run about the whelping box so time to expand.... teeth are starting to show through as well so next step is pablum with some ground up kibble to supplement moms milk bar
