Our first week back has come to an end! We want to thank everyone for abiding by the rules and restrictions, and for the seemingly painless transitions between classes. All of your support has been noticed and greatly appreciated. Next week is the big test though. ALL classes are back next week, including our 4-5 year old program! We’ve been patiently awaiting this days since the end of October, but we’re very happy to announce that WE ARE BACK! Starting Tuesday, March 9th, anyone on an auto-renewal plan or that has continued their membership to support our gym through our closure, is invited back, with everyone, including our kids program, welcome back on Monday, March 15th! The schedule will be released tomorrow night around 5:30 pm, and you must be registered for a class to come to the gym. Please do not register for classes before the schedule is released or you will be removed from it. Just because we can’t train together, doesn’t mean you’re getting away with not celebrating the 12 Days of Kwestmas! It’s not the holidays without it! For those who don’t know how to do the 12 Days of Kwestmas, it follows the same pattern as the song The 12 Days of Christmas in a 1, 2-1, 3-2-1, 4-3-2-1, etc. pattern, with the day being equivalent to the number of each exercise you do. It’s usually a fun class we love to do together every year! We’ll just have to do it a l...ittle differently this year! Get some video of photos of yourself celebrating the 12 Days of Kwestmas and either share it with us or post it and tag us in it! We’d love to see you working hard! With Winnipeg entering Code Red starting Monday November 2nd, the River Osborne Community Centre’s board of directors has decided to close the centre for at least two weeks, ultimately requiring us to close as well. We hope this is just a small bump in the road, and that we’ll be back very soon. In the mean time, please stay safe, stay home, and do what you can to help limit the spread. Big news everyone! Starting the week of September 8th, our new schedule will be starting! Kids classes will begin the following week. We have our Muay Thai 1 classes four times a week, Fundamentals three times a week, with Boxing on Thursday’s, Kick-Fit on Tuesday’s, and a new 20 minute individual cool down class called 8 Students 5 Rounds! We will also have new instructors and assistants to certain classes! What is also new is the implementation of our new class booking sy...stem. We will now be using Wellness Living Achieve (available online or in your respective App Store) to schedule classes! You must be booked into a class to attend it. We understand this is a learning process and there will be staff available to help you get set up and registered if you need it! Our Muay Thai Firebacks program is back starting the week of September 14th! We have our 4-5 year old program on Thursday’s, and our 6-12 year old program on Monday’s and Wednesday’s! We have improved cleaning procedures and safety measures in place this session, as you and your children’s safety is our number one priority.
