Santa made it to Lakefield. What a fantastic day some snow and over 500 cars came came by to enjoy. The Floats were all great and the Lions appreciated the afford putting into organizing them. The Food and Toy Drive were a great success. The food and cash donations was delivered to the Lakefield Food Bank right the after the parade and the toys are going to the Salvation Army today.

Past President Lion Larry Taylor presenting former Lion John Dunford with his 20 year service pin and a Helen Keller award for his service to the community that went above and beyond what was expected of him. Congratulations John.

Since Remembrance Day Services have been cancelled this year due to Covid, lets all stand on our porches at 11:00 am on November 11th and observe a minute of silence in honour of our fallen soldiers. It is the least we can do for those who lost their lives so we could live in peace.
