It’s been full force here on my end since August and I’m so grateful for the support! That being said, I’m looking forward to some time off to reenergize, reorganize and recoup. Where are my photographer friends at? Who else is a bit burnt out?

Oh hey there! I have a bunch of new followers so I thought I’d do an introduction. My name is Laura, not Laura-Joy (Joy is my middle name). People confuse this all the time, and that’s okay ... In another life I was an actress or director, but in this life so far photography has been my main gig! (And I wouldn’t change that) I think travel is the best education. I’ve travelled to 13 countries so far (with hopefully many more to come) I love self-help books because no one else is going to help ya! I like thrift shopping because it feels like a treasure hunt (and is also better for the environment). Amelie is one of my favourite movies and I have to crack creme brûlée’s like she does. Now back to my regularly scheduled program! Thank you all for your support with the Haute + Home Project and I look forward to another segment of it when things settle again!
