In collaboration with the Arts Council Wood Buffalo and Balsom Communications, leek is proud to present Art In Place. Art In Place is a series comprised of short performance films, documentaries and artist interviews. It utilizes atypical space as a stage for performance. The series exists with the goal of documenting creative culture and art, and the context that it is created in. Production of the series started in August 2019 and is scheduled to continue in Fall 2020. Featured artists so far include Glen Miller, Nicole Armstrong, Lydia Van Thiel, Leah Perry, Alyssa Mackay and Jay Chinn. For the first short, Nicole Armstro...ng, Lydia Van Thiel, Leah Perry and Alyssa Mackay got together in the Phoenix Heli-Flight hangar. This first short was created with the endearing support of Fred Koalabeare, Kofi Prince of KTS Solutions LTD, Paul and Andrea Spring of Phoenix-Heli-Flight Inc, and Councilor Jeff Peddle and wife Maxine Willocks Peddle of JP Consulting.
