Today is World Suicide Prevention Day!! As some of you may know, in between working as a Legal Assistant in Corporate Law, Family Law, and Wills years ago, and choosing to return back to the Legal world as a licensed Paralegal, the owner of Leo Traits Process Serving and Legal Assistance spent a number of years working in hospitals and community settings as a Mental Health Crisis Worker, counsellor, support worker, and mental health public educator. Mental Health and suicida...lity are two topics that our owner is extremely passionate about, and that have shaped who she is as a person. Not only through work experience We hope that everyone will open their hearts and let your friends and family know you are available to listen, that they are loved, that they are not alone, that you value and appreciate their presence in your life...don’t just do this when they are feeling down though, do it ALL the time. Thank you again to our clients, old, new, and potential, for your continued support since March. This has been a difficult time for everyone in a myriad of ways, and it is of utmost importance to remain safe, healthy, and happy while we continue to ride this crazy roller coaster. The Covid numbers in Niagara seem to be doing well currently, which is an amazing feat considering all the visitors/tourist coming to Niagara Falls to visit the restaurants and attractions. For the... health and safety of our team (before opening back up for full-time process serving and in person services), we will continue watching the numbers closely, and will wait for a few weeks after schools have reopened, to determine when we will reopen for full operation of process serving and other in person services. Currently we are providing limited process serving for Legal professionals only. Also for legal professionals only, we continue to be available to provide dictation transcription, correspondence drafting, enforcement/pleadings drafting/organization/editing, enforcement drafting for small claims and civil matters (depending on the matter), and other remote legal assistance based services. We have a history of legal assistance experience in Corporate Law, Family Law, Wills, Contracts, Civil Litigation and Paralegal experience in Small Claims and Provincial offences. We appreciate everyone’s patience during this time, and apologize to those we have been unable to work with during this time.
