TIME FOR KIDS TO BE KIDS and time for the adults to have fun like kids too! One of our Life4kids supporters funded a day out for the staff and kids and as you can see - it’s was a Hit!! All smiles this day!!

LIFE4KIDS WELCOMES WITH LOVE AND OPEN ARMS!! We try to help as many children as possible! It’s hard to pick amongst the thousands of children begging and looking in garbage for food on the dangerous streets of Nairobi. One child at a time, we will all work together to make their world a better place. The pictures attached are of our 4th little one welcomed into Life4kids in the past 4 months. He will now feel safe, loved and hopeful for a bright future. ... We are so fortunate to have an amazing staff in Nairobi who have to go through a lot of emotions, paperwork (they can’t just simply take a kid) and who have the networking and local knowledge to make this all possible. We are so grateful for each and every one of them! This child will go through an adjustment period at Life4kids and will go to school for the very first time soon. See more

REUNITED WITH HIS BROTHER! At Life4kids, we try to keep families together as much as possible. This little one has a blood brother at Life4kids and now has 16 other brothers to guide him and love him. Because of malnutrition, this child has doctors orders of fresh fruit and vegetables to get his blood levels to normal and he will be well taken care of. Thank you for your donations and support. Without our supporters, we wouldn’t be able to help these precious children. ... Below you will see where this 6 year old child lived with his mom who is very poor and had to send him out to the streets to beg for money. She loves him but could no longer take care of him and is very happy that he’s safe and will be able to be a child again. See more

FROM LIVING AT THE DUMP TO LIFE AT LIFE4KIDS This child was living with his grandma and her sister (both in their 70’s) in the dump in the slums of Nairobi. The staff all work together with the police and local authorities to find these children and safely and willingly bring them to Life4kids. The second picture is him, now, at Life4kids. We are committed to welcoming 10 new boys into Life4kids within the next year! 3 new boys have already been given a chance at love, n...ourishment, education and a home and this is only one of their stories. Fun fact: at Life4kids we make sure that if the children have family, that they are encouraged to keep in touch with them. Although these two grandmas couldn’t provide all that Life4kids can offer this child, they did the best they could for him 6 years, with love and compassion. See more

The children and staff are so happy to have Inger, one of our fabulous Life4kids Norway Board, advisory board and Kenya Board members visiting the home in Kenya and helping out!! Meet the Staff at Life4kids; Meet Mashack! Our Executive Director Jane writes: Everyone is a hero in his/her own little or big way. That’s definitely true for a care giver like Meshack. He has been a father figure to all of our young children in Life4Kids. A part from being a figure father in Life4Kids, he is a family man, a husband and a father of two beautiful young girlsyet he gives the same time to all the children as any other staff. His efforts cannot go unnoticed. He... passionately cares for all the children and loves them. Meshack is also passionate in religion matters. He is a pastor, and he teaches our children the Bible, conducts services on Sundays especially in this time of Corona when churches are closed. Meshack wears a big smile when at work, having the children around him all day and at night, smiling to them is a medicine to their broken hearts. We are very grateful that we have Meshack on our team, for all the sacrifice and commitment to his service as a care giver. Because of him and other care givers we are able to provide a peaceful and a loving home for all our children. See more

CURRENT REALITY IN NAIROBI: The staff at Life4kids went on the streets and one of the dump sites to find street boys in need....this is where they search for food and clothing.... The elderly women pictured here try to help them in any way they can but it’s not enough. To bring boys from here to the home and to be able to take care of them, Life4kids needs your help. Our children are safe and sound and we want to thank all of our donors in this hard time where people world wide are suffering with the second wave of Covid... we are fortunate, we can keep our families and our precious children safe at Life4kids and let them be children! Update on Life4kids: Taking care of the children at Life4kids takes a lot of devotion and one on one time from our staff. Preparing and feeding the children nutritious meals is a specialty and talent all on its own. We are so pleased to introduce our new cook. Her name is Celestine. 48 years old. She started working on Sunday, 1st of November!
