What a year! So much uncertainty, so much new and different and hard and challenging...but so much wonderful too. Running a vineyard and winery is a bit out there enough without throwing a pandemic in the midst of things but here we are. Still standing. Definitely wouldn’t be if it weren’t for the support, the porch-side pickups, the businesses who buy. Definitely wouldn’t be without the incredible people who work hard alongside us through all seasons and still return ...in spite of us! Definitely wouldn’t be without your encouragement, post shares, visits, without our families who hold us up. We are thankful for the opportunity to look at this little business and our lives in a different perspective, to be reminded of what and who really matters and grateful for the hurdles too, everything is a lesson learned after all! Doing a lot of this today...wading out from underneath the fog that is grape harvest. Hard to believe that in a span of less than 10 days we did it all! Very exhausted but so very grateful for so many selfless, beautiful people that lightened our load. Still many tasks to be done in the winery and around the vineyard and definitely not our most stellar year for yield but it is so very fine to live amongst a supportive and caring community.
