We have an update on our donations from Saturday March 27th. Thank you again to everyone for your support and donations. $2210 raised for Laurie’s family $1000 (25% of sales from Saturday) donated to Canadian Mental Health Foundation (Alberta Division) on behalf of Lokal Kitchen $1175 raised for Mental Health Foundation (go fund me page) You blew us away with your support on Saturday and we can not thank you enough. Laurie’s family is at a loss for words, they are very grat...eful. Thanks again Sylvan Lake. You are the kindest most caring community I have ever been a part of. Be kind to everyone you meet, you never know the battles they are enduring. In loving memory of Laurie McCallum.

The out pouring love from this community yesterday was heartwarming. We can not thank each and everyone of you enough. We will update this week with the totals of what we raised for Laurie’s family and Mental Health Foundation. We do know that it was above and beyond our goal we had set. The love you showed us all helped us get through a difficult day. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you all.

With love and fond memories will we be honouring our fallen staff member today. All tips and a percentage of sales from today will be donated to her family. We keep getting asked how you can help.
