Happy Diwali! Our children engaged in various activities to celebrate Diwali. We made diya (oil lamps), our teachers made henna stickers and our student teacher made Halwa to be sent home for our families to taste. Through these activities children were able to learn about the festivities and culture; exposing them to different diversity. We wish you all a safe and happy Diwali, enjoy your weekend everyone!
