Just saw that Santa is flying over Kyrgyzstan right now, but we were so lucky at Lumel as he stopped in just before he began this year’s epic journey. It is always so wonderful to spend time with this gentle soul.

Wise Yukoners head to Lumel Studios for wonderful glass containers for their 'gold, frankincense and myrrh' . We are open every day and until 4 pm on Christmas Eve - pop in - even if it is just to talk, laugh, sing and be merry .

With the arrival of 2021 - I am reminded that this space was pretty blank before Lumel Studios came onto the scene. Thank you to the Whitehorse community and all of our friends far and wide for filling in this spot and creating a loved and amazing place.

We have passed innumerable inspections and patiently await a thumbs up from the last two... it looks like a 2021 GATHERING is our destiny. All good things eventually arrive .

Found original doors from the Whitepass rail cars at Rustic North. They are perfect for the 2 new Gather Cafe & Taphouse loos. Don’t worry this ‘potty train’ will have black-boarded windows . We keep chuggin’ along to make Gather a very unique place.

The only real drawback to following a dream and building a glass blowing studio is that over the past 5 years I have managed so much more than I have created with glass. On Saturday a wonderful woman from Montreal ordered larger Northern Lights and Fireweed hearts and we did not have them in stock, so I get to create them . The firing up of the main studio has given me the chance to again use the studio early Sunday mornings to follow my passion. Heart felt thanks for the order from afar!

Our first snow of the season and time for the kicksleds to be taken out again - winter here we come! Northern Lights bears and kicksleds what an incredible gift that would be this Christmas ;).
