However, watch pockets that appear on trousers were often for workwear as a vest would typically be the primary place a pocket watch was carried. The Mr. Cavaliere tab collar shirt is one way to elevate a suit and tie. Famously worn by British royals and Mr. 007 the tab collar, like other great pieces of menswear, was born from functionality. The predecessor of the pin collar acts as a lift for the tie making it look more pronounced (as seen in the second image) while keeping the collar points close to the neck. I also designed this shirt with a contrasting white collar as traditionally these collars would also be detachable. We cut our blazers in exactly the same way as our suit jacketsa decision made by design. We want our clients to have an interchangeable and adaptable wardrobe, where the silhouette of their suits matches that of their blazers. We like our suits soft. We don’t use any shoulder pads, preferring to highlight our client’s natural lines. That means we have to nail the fit, as we don’t have large pads to hide behind. We also use a lightweight chest canvas and a half-lined body to make the jacket breathable, comfortable, and flexible. We cut a high arm hole for increased mobility, and use a nipped waist to accentuate the masculine shape.
