M a s k n e Majority of the clients I have been seeing lately have complaints of sudden acne, particularly underneath the eyes + below. So, thought I'd share a few tips with you all! Continuously wearing masks poses two problems;... 1. Friction 2. Lack of oxygen/suffocation + bacteria from our mouths settling on our faces. Bacteria (some) thrives without the presence of oxygen. Together there is inflammation, dehydration + a compromised skin barrier. Focus on hydrating, lightweight moisturizers. Instead of granular scrubs, use chemical/enzyme exfoliants. Additional friction will not do your skin any favours. An occlusive product such as Vaseline could be used as well to prevent moisture loss. As for professional treatments, schedule your facial for blue LED, high frequency, extractions + a chemical peel. See you soon

How to stress less: Book your skin treatments in advance. I won't be taking holidays during the summer but random days/ weekends here + there.... Depending on the treatment appointments can be spaced 2-6 weeks apart! If you're unsure what is right for you, just shoot me a message. ---

Well tomorrow is my reopening day! TBH on my end not much will be different. My sanitation + cross contamination prevention has always been on par. If you've seen me in the past you know I'm always sportin' a mask + gloves. There will be some instances where I will have to wear a faceshield as well. 1. Please wear a mask for the duration of your appointment (of course this depends on service type). Disposable masks are available at a $2.00 charge. 2. Hand sanitizer will be pr...ovided upon entering + exiting. I also have a sink in my room for handwashing as well. 3. Arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment time. 4. Do not bring additional people with you. I trust that my guests will not put me, my daughter, husband + other clients in jeopardy. Please be honest + DO NOT book an appointment if you are ill/symptomatic, travelled or have been in contact with someone who has had the virus in the previous weeks.
