So do y'all remember my client who had installed micro braids and was advised they would turn into locs? He had rocked this for about 2 years. The memory of how eager I was to unravel each braid and instantly loc them, feels like yesterday. I look at the before and tell myself DAMN that was a lot of work, but didn't feel like that in the moment. I get anxiety when a person's locs don't look like they've reached its full potential.
