Casting Call *please read fully* Yellow lab to double these dogs, must look exactly the same 70 ish pounds.... MUST have a very high toy drive, looking for a dog that without hesitation grab a toy and tug in any environment. Must be friendly and outgoing. Owner must be willing to send dog to set with trainers (with new covid regulations owners cannot come to set). Please send a small video of dog tugging along with pictures.

When Movie stars meet of course they have to get photos together!

Casting call, friendly outgoing Tortoise must be available Monday or Tuesday coming up. Owner must be available to bring to set and stay/handle Tortoise (Movie sets can be potentially 10+ hrs). Owner must not have traveled outside Canada (or anywhere that requires quarantine) within the past 14 days, been in contact with anyone test positive for covid, or themselves tested for COVID and awaiting results. Owner also must not have symptoms and willing to have temperature taken on set. Location Winnipeg!

Did you know over 50 Manitoba animals have worked in the film industry over the past couple of years, most of them were "discovered" when taking our acting classes. Here are some of the animals that have worked on set! By taking our classes you will set your dog up for success in the film industry, we prepare them to be comfortable in the movie set enviroment and so they can focus on just having fun! NOW CLASSES STARTING SOON!... August 17th at 6:30pm, classes run for one hour every week for 5 weeks. Cost is $125 and we have 4 spots left. Classes are held at Dumbledogs K9 Performance Center 974 Powell Avenue in the St. James Area of Winnipeg. We work on behaviors that your dog would need before stepping on a movie/commercial/tvseries film set. Did anyone see the cute little mini Aussie on Hallmarks Secret Ingredient tonight? "George" the dog was played by Manitoba Animal Actor Roo! Roo is not new to film she has also worked on A Dogs Journey as "Bode" and some commercials. If you missed it The Secret Ingredient plays tomorrow as well!
