The Faces of Manotick Place. This month we feature the Golden Girls of Manotick Place; Barbara McIlroy, Georgette Bradley and Maria Harwood. These ladies are always adventuring around the building together or hanging out with their precious dogs Mr. Pippen and Mrs. Charlotte. We asked the Golden Girls what 1 lesson they have learned that is a must to be passed on to future generations here is what they have passed on: Maria: Drink more wine.... Georgette: Communication is the key to success! Barbara: Creativity will get you anywhere in life. Be like the Golden Girls. Wear your mask.

The Faces of Manotick Place. We are very excited to introduce a new internal project we have been working on! Manotick Place will be launching the "Faces of Manotick Place" each and every month. We will be interviewing a resident and posting their photo on our Faces of Manotick Place wall in the front lobby. This Resident will also be featured in our monthly newsletter, The Manotick Place Press, which is distributed to all of our residents and families. Meet Edith! Edith ha...s been living at Manotick Place since 2014! She loves crossword puzzles and logic games. She has completed over 1000 crosswords since April! We asked Edith, if she could offer one piece of advise to the young people of the world, what would that be? Her response: "Read history. Those who don’t are doomed to repeat it.
