Going for a run while Mom goes for a roll.
We would love to introduce you to Harley! Stella had her beautiful filly! Both momma and baby are doing great. Harley is a brave little girl that loves to run and play.
The ladie have been at Burwash for awhile as we await the babies. Any guesses on when they may foal? Any guesses on what the babies might look like? Freya and Stella enjoy each others company. They hang out outside with each other all day and get stalled at night.... Hurry up babies we want to meet you!
Falkor looking sharp with a saddle.
Today we worked on lunging Falkor in a small area. This was a scary exercise for him a few weeks ago and he would try to run away. We took a few steps back and went slower. He is starting to understand what we want and is feeling comfortable with us. He had his feet trimmed by the farrier last week and was great! Today we brushed out that beautiful mane and tail he has. What a cool little pony. It is very rewarding to have him let his guard down and enjoy all the attention he is getting. This was a great week!
Some Falkor time on the barn today. This little guy is going to be a little superstar.
Little Miss Hermoine learning the ropes (literally!!!) of being a fancy show pony. It’s hard to believe this girl hasn’t even celebrated her third birthday yet, she is such a natural! Of course she is also in the best possible hands when pony whisperer-ninjas Kathy and Mason take the reins
One step closer. Saddle pad is on.
Ron Weasley. The hunter pony champion of the world. First time in the arena and he loved jumping over the x-rails. He is in his glory with all the attention. I think he would follow the kids anywhere.
It was Pony night at the barn. Red, Ron and Falkor had some time inside. Red is starting to feel more comfortable with all the busy life in the barn. Ron jumped over a few x-rails with Mason. This little guy was so excited. He just wanted to please. Loves to jump and play. Falkor has his hooves picked out and Mason took him for a run in the arena. Falkor seemed to settle right down once he was away from the other boys. Mason is the Falkor whisperer. He only likes her to catch him. He makes the rest of us chase after him but he walks right up to her. I think that little pony picked his person and she pretty smitten too. *** update... I fogot to mention Falkor met the pig and he didn’t even give him a second look. So brave.
