Orland was minister at Pilgrim United Church in 1970. He was part of helping McClure's birth as a congregation.

On Saturday afternoon, 51 music enthusiasts gathered in our beautiful church yard to enjoy a wonderful jazz concert. Dan Davis and Audrey Ochoa Trio provided the music, and Sharon and Dennis Davis served as their Road Crew, Booking Agents, Box Office Managers and most importantly- Sponsors. The event raised $680.
