CM Sri K Chandrashekar Rao met Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Sri Jagat Prakash Nadda in New Delhi. During the meeting, CM requested the Union Min...ister to accord necessary permissions to convert Bibinagar NIMS into AIIMS facility. CM explained to the minister that the Telangana government is planning to set up a Super Specialty hospital, a Medical College, A Dental College and a Nursing College with Hostel facility at Bibinagar. CM also appealed to the Union minister to extend cooperation to the proposed Pharma City at Hyderabad. He also explained about the state government's plans to start a Pharma University as part of the same project. Lastly, the CM also requested the Union Health Minister to grant a National Institute status to Niloufer Paediatric Hospital. The CM explained about the glorious history of Niloufer Hospital to the Union Minister.

Mr KT Rama Rao, Minister for IT & PR’s meeting with Chairman TATA Sons Mr Cyrus Mistry and 9 other TATA company CEOs Minister for IT & PR, Government of Telanga...na, Mr KT Rama Rao, accompanied by Mr Harpreet Singh, Secretary IT, Mr Jayesh Ranjan, Commissioner of Industries, and Mr S Eshwaariah, CE Housing visited Mumbai on 3rd February to interact with top management of Tata companies in their headquarters Bombay House. The delegation met Mr Cyrus Mistry, Chairman Tata Sons, and CEOs/senior executives of 9 other Tata companies : Anil Sardana (Tata Power), Sanjay Ubale (Tata Realty & Infrastructure), Vinayak Deshpande (Tata Projects), Puneet Sharma (Tata Capital), Sukaran Singh (Tata Advanced System), R Ramanan (CMC), Sumit Sapru (Tata Housing), Ravi Pishaordy (Tata motors) and N Srinath (Tata Teleservices). The Minister explained the new industrial policy of the Telangana government, and the state’s flagship projects like Water Grid, T-HUB, RICH, Industrial corridors, Smart City, Solar Power park, Aerospace Park, housing for the poor, improvement of civic amenities in Hyderabad, etc. Tata group has shown interest in participating in many of these state government’s projects. On behalf of Tata Power, the group showed their willingness to take up generation of 100 MW solar power. They also expressed an interest in utilizing wastelands for development of biomass for generating renewable energy. They have identified feasibility of wind power in Telangana, which they will explore further. The Tata Realty group has expertise in industrial township projects, and they agreed to participate in the development of a Greenfield industrial township at an appropriate location along with processing and non-processing area. They will support the state government’s efforts to develop an electronic hardware manufacturing park near Hyderabad. This arm of the Tata Sons offered their services to study the transportation systems in Hyderabad city, and work out the possibility of a Light Rail system as a feeder to the Metro rail. The Tata Advanced Systems already has aerospace projects in Hyderabad. They expressed their happiness in being present in Telangana already, and promised to take up further new projects in Adibatla Aerospace Park and the upcoming aerospace extension park. Tata Projects CEO expressed an interest to participate in the execution of the water grid project. The upcoming project of T-HUB which will become the largest incubation centre in the country once it is launched fascinated the Chairman Mr Mistry. He committed the support of TCS to the project, and also agreed to explore the possibility of Tata Innovations Fund to take up equity in the project. Tata Housing, which has participated in the slum redevelopment schemes in Mumbai, came forward to take up the same in Hyderabad too. Other group companies like Tata Motors, Tata Teleservices and CMC also agreed to look for opportunities for collaboration. It has been agreed upon that a senior team from the Tata group will visit the state and work out detailed modalities of collaborating on these projects.
