Exemptions for wearing masks in public indoor spaces will not typically be granted by our physicians. The Medical Associates of Port Perry endorses the Canadian Thoracic Society’s support for wearing masks when physical distancing is not possible. Wearing a mask does not exacerbate lung disease, can reduce the spread of Covid 19, and is recommended for those over the age of 2 (including those with lung disease). We are excited to announce the opening of the North Durham COVID-19 Assessment Centre at 12 noon today, August 4th, 2020. Located at the Prince Albert Hall at 19 Jeffery Street, Prince Albert, the clinic will complete COVID-19 assessments for residents of Scugog, Uxbridge and Brock Townships. Regular Clinic hours are Monday - Thursday 12pm-8pm, and Friday - Sunday 12pm-4pm. ...
