Any sales technique is ONLY as effective as... the sales agent being able to connect and build trust with the prospect to influence action. People make decisions to buy on emotions, Then they rationalize their decisions.... So, Emotional Intelligence is the secret ingredient (too often overlooked) to skyrocket your bottom line. Interestingly... Depending on the type of sales you are doing, the EQ skills to develop and leverage are different. So, moving from one type of sales to another (even if you have been been high-performing) means a change in your approach to lock in your success. For example, if you are going from a short cycle to a long cycle, what your prospect needs from you to say YES is different. In fact, recent case studies by Six Seconds, reveal that Emotional Intelligence development in a sales team lead to 28% increase in Sales. That's why, when I work with sales managers or sales teams, I include EQ Fit Sales profiles in my package. I can measure, map and predict your results. What would a 28% increase in Sales look like for you? Is it worth your investment?

2 Key Principles every Leader must know about TRUST

In Charge Coaching 13.05.2021

Trust is the difference between employee resistance & avoidance to self-responsibility & engagement. Driven managers are very well acquainted with the harsh realities of pushing for productivity, ... struggling to keep staff accountable, and getting caught in management instead of leadership. Doubling down on productivity... (which seems to be the thing to do when you don't know what else) can actually have the opposite effect, creating that resistance and avoidance. What your employees are subconsciously understanding is that in this team culture, the output is more important than the people. If they aren't important to you, why should your mission & goals be important to them? So, instead of using forcing, coercing or manipulating tactics, my approach focuses on connecting and including your people. Unlike common approaches, this is NOT about aligning your team with your goals.. It is actually engaging their collaboration in co-creating a new, optimal way of operating and relating as a team. Trust is that key that unlocks the other 4 drivers of performance: Motivation, Teamwork, Change and Execution. As a certified Advanced Trust Facilitator, I assist my clients in reaching optimal team performance by enabling high trust. See more

Workplace belonging can lead to an estimated 56% increase in job performance, a 50%. reduction in turnover risk, and a 75% decrease in employee sick days. A single incidence of micro-exclusion can lead to an immediate 25% decline in an individual’s performance on a team project. - Better Up Report 2019 In preparation from our recent workshop at the Climate of Emotions retreat, Jenny and I, found these interesting trends. Creating belonging is crucial for the success of an...y manager and their team. But here's the thing... As a manager, you may think your team is doing well in this department but the reality is usually different... Because you are in a position of authority, people now tell you what they think you want to hear so they can belong. People wear and change their masks depending on people, situations and environment. Furthermore, transparency and honesty is dependent on their feelings of trust and safety. Point is... Unfortunately, you're probably not getting the full story. So how do you work towards belonging IF you don't accurately know your team's current climate? To a better view of what's going on, start with Increasing Trust Engaging Emotional Insight Initiate the conversation We often talk about the problems of the day, Sometimes we zoom out to look at the strategic goals, Rarely we dive deep to understand how we relate and collaborate. I help my clients... Uncover their team's climate, Understand the unpinning systems & dynamics, and Identify & facilitate those key conversations, so they can build sustainable high-performance. Are you ready to optimize belonging in your team?

And just like that December and the holidays are on our door step... I can't believe it's already the end of the year. Yet it feels like we've been in 2020 for ages.... As I look at my agenda, I'm prompted to set my goals for 2021. But first -- it's time to CELEBRATE! It's so easy to skip over celebrating and get right back to doing... But celebrate is an important part of change and growth. To reflect on the journey. To appreciate the successes and the learning. To lock in those wins! So today, I celebrate many wins in 2020... My personal growth. New friendships and renewing old ones. Motherhood in all it's messy-ness. Learning to embrace and include myself (ongoing lesson... lol). My return to business after maternity leave. My ongoing professional development. Reconnecting with my network and new allies. My clients' successes. What something you want to highlight & celebrate?

When no way is the way... (meaning there are many paths) It's not so much about what's right and wrong.... It's more about... Which option allows you to be the version of yourself you want to be. What's most effective for you in getting you closer to your goal. So make YOUR CHOICE. Choose YOUR PATH. How do you know it's the right path? Stay tuned to your emotions! They are signaling threats and opportunities. When your emotions signal you to pay attention... 1 - Accept them without judgement. 2 - Challenge your assumptions. 3 - Explore options. 4 - Stay willing to change your thoughts or your path. 5 - Choose again. So here's the thing the only constant is change. Linear plans made on a set of past circumstances may not work for you anymore. Don't think you need to stay committed to one plan, one path. First, commit to yourself and your purpose. Then, stay flexible with your path and adjust as needed. Every day is new opportunity to make different choices. At the end of each day ask - Is this working for me? Every morning ask - What will I choose today? I leave you with a piece of my favorite Rumi quote -- "Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I'll meet you there." If you value choice, leave me "" in the comments below!
