At Mezza, we remain committed to safeguard the health and food safety of our employees and customers at the highest level during the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. We are closely following the lead of our public officials as we adapt our restaurants to keep the safety of our staff and customers at the forefront. We have been in daily discussions with our staff to maintain a higher than average level of cleanliness and hygiene in our restaurants. We have strict policies on travel... and self-isolation periods, and have already taken several other preventative measures in-store. In addition to these measures, we have made the following changes in our restaurants with the latest advice and guidance issued by government and public health agencies: Sanitization on Hot Spots We are appointing a designated employee each shift to sanitize the hot spots or high-traffic touch points on a high frequency throughout the day. We also have our commerical-grade sanitizer and tissues in our dining rooms for additional customer usage to avoid any possible contamination. Social Distancing All dining rooms are now practicing social distancing with a distancing of a minimum two metres (6 feet) between tables and chairs. Takeout Containers & Plastic Cutlery All orders will only be prepared in our take-out containers and with single use plastic cutlery. Our staff will also be providing customers per order with the cutlery and condiments required over the counter in order to limit our cutlery station touch points. Debit/Credit Only (No Cash Payments) We will only be accepting credit and debit payments until further notice. We will be sanitizing our debit/credit machines between each customer transaction. Pickup & Delivery Options As a reminder, the Mezza Sydney location can be reached for pre-ordered takeout at 902-270-5999. CB Eats, can be ordered for delivery (CB Eats is also offering contactless delivery options). Business Hours We will also be making adjustments to our opening business hours.
