Dear Valued Guests and Visitors, We are so pleased to confirm our opening for the 2021 season. Miette Hot Springs Bungalows will officially open its doors on May 21 st. This past year has truly been unlike anything we have ever seen before and we missed you all greatly! Unfortunately, we will be forging ahead without a confirmed opening from the government operated Miette Hot Springs.... As stated on their website, the Hot Springs facility must follow guidance from Alberta Health Services, and currently their reopening is scheduled for Stage 4 of Alberta’s Path Forward. It is unlikely we will see the Hot Springs facility open in the next 2 months. For all this is disappointing news, and we understand that for some, this may change their decision to stay with us. Please contact us via email if you would prefer to cancel. If you are undecided, please review the cancellation policy on your confirmation email. All current bookings for 2021 are considered valid, active, and confirmed until we receive emailed instruction to cancel. For many others, our resort is just what folks are looking for, the perfect back-country base camp for your Jasper Adventures! Even with the Hot Springs closed for now, there is so much more to the Fiddle Valley! With confirmation of support and infrastructure from Parks Canada, we are confident we have all that is necessary to safely and successfully operate this season. The demand for isolated properties like ours is very high. We welcome those who are still eager to venture into our pristine and breathtaking valley. The Fiddle Valley Pass boasts one of the most spectacular panoramic trails in Jasper National Park. Sulphur Skyline Trail is mere steps from our property, along with the interpretive trail to the old aquatic site and the source of the Hot Springs. Additional points of interest are the Pocahontas Historical and Interpretive Mine Trail, Punch Bowl Falls and the beautiful Ashlar Ridge viewpoint. Miette Hot Springs Bungalows and the Fiddle Valley is a magical place for so many. A breathtaking place to get away. A place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle and reconnect with your loved ones. A place to JUST BE. An authentic back country retreat where you find wildlife grazing at your feet or plucking berries from the surrounding forest. Where families come to create cherished memories year after year. Late yesterday Miette Hot Springs Bungalows received confirmation from Parks Canada that a further delay for the Miette Hot Springs opening is expected. The new tentative timeline that we have received is now early August 2020. This may again be delayed if infections in our province spike. Parks Canada has notified Miette Hot Springs Bungalows that due to the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic Response, there will be a further delay in opening for the 2020 season. Although camping and other low risk activities will be permitted in Jasper National Park by June 21st, access to the Miette Hot Springs Pools will continue to be restricted. It is with a heavy heart that we announce our delayed opening for the 2020 season. Miette Hot Springs Bungalows is now tentatively scheduled to open June 5th 2020. Unfortunately, this date is also subject to change. Parks Canada officially announced today that all Parks facilities across Canada will remain closed until at least May 31st. Although, this is a very difficult thing to accept, we wholeheartedly support the decision and believe this is the best way to get us all ba...ck to normal daily life. Miette Hot Springs Bungalows and the Fiddle Valley is a magical place for many. A breathtaking place to get away and disconnect from the hustle and bustle and reconnect with your loved ones. A place to JUST BE. An authentic back country retreat where you can behold wildlife often grazing at your feet or plucking berries from the surrounding forest. Where families come to create cherished memories year after year. Please know that we are extremely grateful you have chosen us to be your quiet place. To those guests who booked with us directly and have been impacted by this delay in opening, you can expect confirmation of cancellation to be processed and sent via email between April 20th and April 23rd. We will do all the work! Those who have booked through an online booking agent/service, you must initiate and complete their request of cancellation by directly contacting that company. If you are in need of assistance, please don't hesitate to email us. We will do our best to help! A reminder that Miette Hot Springs Bungalows does not take a deposit at the time of booking. Credit cards are simply pre-authorized for the first night stay to guarantee and hold your reservation. This results in a temporary hold for 5-10 business days and is seen as a pending transaction on your credit card statement. This amount is released back to you at the end of that period. If you would like to reschedule your stay with us, we would be more than happy to assist you. Please email us with your new dates and we will do our very best to accommodate you.
