In honor of Betty White, a champion supporter for animals and beloved entertainer, on what would be her 100th Birthday, we are participating in the #bettywhitechallenge and are donating $1 per entree sold from Moose Winooski's on Monday January 17th directly to Pound Dog Rescue. We welcome our community to participate in this challenge in a number of ways! 1) Take a photo of you and your favourite animal that you love and appreciate, tag us @themoosewinooskis and #bettywhit...echallenge and your favourite IG pet account! We will pick an entry on Jan 17th and award a $50 CHarcoal Group gift card! 2) Chef Tuna at The Moose is baking custom Moose shaped dog treats that can be purchased on our take out page or in person, all proceeds will go to Pound Dog Rescue. 3) We will add a donation button to our takeout page for a $5 donation to Pound Dog Rescue! We are excited to support this amazing local organization that has changed the lives of so many animals and their forever homes. Thank you everyone who offered suggestions to me for where to get dinner to celebrate my engagement tonight. We ended up going to Moose Winooski's Kitchener. Th...ey did an amazing job! We had a private table near the waterfall, far away from everyone else. The service was superb. They are doing an excellent job at keeping everyone (staff and guests) safe. Dinner was tasty as always. We shared the artichoke and spinach dip to start, which was very yummy. I quite liked the seasoning they put on the chips. We both ordered steaks and they were cooked just the way we enjoy them. Then we finished with the strawberry shortcake. All in all it was a wonderful night. We even had a big umbrella so the rain didn't bother us one bit. A very big thank you to Bill Siegfried, our server Dana, and all the staff at the Moose for making this night extra special for us.
