Or explore our trails off to the right in this map. We would recommend you challenge yourself and head up one of our ski runs......the LOOKOUT it’s one of our favourites The views at the top are some of the best in Thunder Bay! You don’t need snowshoes regular snow boots would be fine if you don’t have snowshoes the main reason is to get those legs movin and get exercise safely on our 300 acres of land Our kitchen will be rolling out some yummy food and beers/pop through our takeout window. Dan has been working hard on our cross country and snowshoeing trails! That’s right you probably had no idea we have over 7km of amazing snowshoeing trails :) The views are amazing :))) We are happy to announce we are able to open as per TBDHU along with the enhanced province wide shutdown document released onJanuary 12, 2021, that statesoutdoor recreational amenities are permitted to operate include cross country skiing and snowshoeing.... We will have freshly groomed skate trails and a classic track set for those looking to get some much needed fresh air and exercise during this lockdown. We also want to let the snowmobiling community know that our takeout restaurant will be set up to grab some of our yummy food and beer :) The cost for snowshoeing is by donation of any amount :) The cost for cross country skiing is $10 a person or $20 for a family. Tickets can be purchased on our website at this time and we highly encourage this method. Both are free of charge if you are a current Mount Baldy member. We are open Saturday & Sunday from 12-4:30 Make sure you come prepared to boot up in your car as our chalet is closed. Washrooms are available. Masks are a must and we ask that you do not have more than 5 people in your group and that you do your part on physical distancing from others. Please note downhill skiing is not permitted at ALL not even walking up so please respect our rules :)) Thank you everyone for your continued support during these devastating times!

GET OUTDOORS / GO SKIING! The weather is absolutely amazing today grab the family or your buddies and head out to Mount Baldy for $20 skiing and some fresh air,fun times,bbq, beers/pop :) Update on upper runs. We are basically done the shotgun and gold we just need a little bit more snow on the upper T bar area and we’re ready to roll. Dan tried his best to make it happen this weekend but we’re gonna have to wait till next weekend we just ran out of hours in the day:))))

We hope you are all ready for a great day! Please keep in mind we will be implementing new restrictions this weekend to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Personal items will no longer be allowed to be kept inside the chalet. We ask that you keep all personal items in your vehicle or outside. Lockers are available for purchase if you wish to store belongings indoors. We would like to remind all guests that masks and social distancing are required according to TBDHU guidelines inside the chalet, and while waiting in line for and within 2 metres of the magic carpet or other guests while outdoors. Rentals will not be available this weekend. We would like to thank you in advance for your cooperation. Have a fun and safe weekend on the hill!

The snow wizards at BALDY are trying to work some magic getting the shotgun open and we will keep you posted.
