Yesterday, I jumped at the chance and was very excited to do hair extensions again. Appointments started to book and I got to reconnect with my ladies. Then the fear kicked in and my family and I have made the decision that I will close my extension business. I moved my Mom in from Toronto on March 13 and she will not be going back. As a result, we all feel it wise not to compromise her health as we have all made some big health decisions this year. I have gained myself a... covid curve so weight loss is not the direction of our health discussions but physically and mentally, I would like to do everything I can to keep us healthy and Mom especially safe. I have reached out to the amazing Hair Flair team and will be promoting and providing the name of some amazing extensionists. Hair Flair is also amazing and fast... as you know, thats not the lane I travel. Stay tuned as I provide referrals ASAP. I have loved getting you ready for your big day and loved how beautiful many of you felt when leaving my home. During this time, I will only see 1 client per day and will dis-infect with Chlorox wipes between every client. This includes all tools which will be cleaned with wipes and then popped in the dishwasher. If you are experiencing any flu like symptoms, please reschedule your appointment after April 5th. Moxie hair extensions is a home-based salon. In the Fall, we decided to foster dogs as we live on a 2 acre property and are a dog friendly home; already with three dogs. We have fostered up to 11 dogs as we rescued 7 puppies at 8 weeks old from a local shelter. The dogs are not allowed in the salon EVER and have been successfully zoned out of the area and foyer during appointments. BUT we come with a warning that you must love dogs to have hair extensions installed here. It is a #mustlovedogs type of pad. I aim to provide a peaceful, comfortable and beautiful space with coffee and maybe a glass of wine at night. If dog hugs are needed, we can also make that happen. Thank you and have a moxie day!
