A massive explosion at the port of Beirut, Lebanon, has rocked an already vulnerable nation. With widespread damage to buildings and hospitals across the city, ...dozens are feared to be dead and thousands of people are injured. Sadly, the now flattened port was a major entry point for food and fuel, and its destruction will be devastating for a country that is already on the brink of economic collapse. Our heartfelt prayers and condolences go out to those who lost their loved ones, and to the people of Lebanon. In the past year, our teams across Lebanon have been working to provide food to hungry families, and help offset the loss of income and the impacts of COVID-19.
