Over the years at Make Your Mark we have been exposed to numerous suicides and mental health challenges, and to be honest... one is far too much. We just received another email from a client whose teenager overdosed. As a 14-year old I was suicidal and even attempted to take my own life twice. During the past 10 months people contemplating suicide and also committing suicide has risen dramatically. 1 in 6 Canadians have thought about suicide during the lock-downs and being confined to their homes. I am sure it's not too different around the globe. It has been in the media that Mental Health issues are becoming a pandemic themselves. I want to serve humanity in any way that I can, we really need to get on top of this. I know I am not a doctor, psychologist or counselor, but I am an expert at shifting people's perspective on life, mindset, and their situation. I have just completed a session with 64 people on Zoom and completely shifted their perspective on how things can be done. At the end of the event, Amy (one of the attendees) broke out in song and sang "Amazing grace" to me - it brought tears to my eyes. Her life will be forever shifted after today. I want to do the same for families across the globe. I am hosting an event on Saturday, Feb 13th from 9am - 2pm PST called Heart For Humanity. It's 100% my GIFT to you, your children and your family and friends. I have my gifts and talents, and God spoke to me loudly today and said, "humanity needs you... go and serve."
