We have some of the prettiest alpine lakes here in Waterton! This gem toned beauty looks even more beautiful in the fall as the colours are changing. That amazing colour comes from rock flour, tiny micro particles of rock and dust that are illumiated in the water by light. Photo by Judy Scherer
