When I talk to folks about kayaking I've had a few people mention to me how great a spot Deerock Lake is to paddle. I had never been so I added it to my buck list of places to visit. I finally made the trip on a sunny morning in early-October of 2019. They weren't exaggerating - Deerock Lake Conservation Area may be the absolute most beautiful place I've ever been to.
