Hi everyone, it’s been 18 months since we closed our doors and I wanted to share a few words with all of you who loved New Age. After spending over 20 years in New Age it was time was for me to start a new chapter. I didn’t say goodbye in the way that I intended and for that I am sorry. After pouring my heart and all of my resources into seeing a vision to fruition it became clear our size was not sustainable in Calgary. I chose to close New Age, declared personal bankruptc...y and let my emotions flow. It was time for a new chapter with my partner Robin and son Rumi. New Age filled my soul with enough nourishment for many lifetimes and I am so grateful to every ounce of wisdom and passion shared in our space. We danced, we hugged, we were a space for all, we laughed, we astral-traveled, we cried, we meditated, we sang, we elevated, we loved.. hard so hard. I met the love of my life inside that space. It was everything to me. It was difficult to say goodbye but I am so very happy I have been given the opportunity to accept many hard lessons and use them as fuel to create and be the best form of myself. I will forever be a light worker and I am so proud of everything that New Age accomplished, shared and supported. After digging up my physical roots and moving to Southern California I have also gained a tremendous respect for just how impactful a small community can be on a persons (my) life. So with that in mind I send my love to everyone who I ever had a conversation with in the store. I love you and I cherish all the transformative words and inspiration we shared.
