I remember it like it was just yesterday. From the final doctors appointment where I was told I had cancer, to my last of day of treatment and all of my experiences and people who supported me in between. There were many times where I was scared, defeated & angry on the inside but all I could allow anyone to see was my bright light; my smile. Despite my own hardships, I CHOSE to be strong for the people who were being so strong for me. That is how I kept pushing on. The world we live in today is constantly empowering me to tap into my power and remind myself of the things I have control over. Being diagnosed with cancer was not in my control but how I reacted certainly was.
