NARRATED (ABU HURAIRA) R.A: ALLAH'S MESSENGER (S.A.W) SAID, "WHOEVER OBSERVES SAU'M (FASTS) DURING THE MONTH OF RAMADAN OUT OF SINCERE FAITH,AND HOPING TO ATTAIN ALLAH'S REWARDS,THEN ALL HIS PAST SINS WILL BE FORGIVEN" SODAQOH ROSUL (S.A.W).

MAY ALMIGHTY ALLAH(S.W.T) COUNT US AMONG THOSE WHO WITNESS THIS YEAR'S RAMADAN ,AND MAY HE GIVE US THE STRENGTH AND WEALTH TO BE ABLE TO COMPLETE OUR FAST AND WORSHIP HIM THE WAY HE LOVES(AMINN). RAMADAN KAREEM!!! FROM:NIGERIAN MUSLIM SOCIETY OF REGINA.

The Prophet () said, "There is a gate in Paradise called Ar-Raiyan, and those who observe fasts will enter through it on the Day of Resurrection and none except them will enter through it. It will be said, 'Where are those who used to observe fasts?' They will get up, and none except them will enter through it. After their entry the gate will be closed and nobody will enter through it."

O you who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you, as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may guard (against evil). (Fasting is) for a fixed number of days; and if any of you is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed... number (Should be made up) from days later, and for those (who miss the fast for illness or travel) who are able to do it, is a ransom of feeding one that is indigent. But he that will give more, of his own free will, it is better for him. And it is better for you that you fast, if you only knew. The month of Ramadhan in which was revealed the Qur'an, guidance for mankind, and clear proofs of the guidance, and the Criterion (of right and wrong). And whosoever of you is present, let him fast the month, and whosoever of you is sick or on a journey, (let him fast the same) number of other days. Allah desires ease for you; He does not desire hardship for you; and (He desires) that you should complete the period, and that you should magnify Allah for having guided you, and that peradventure you may be thankful. Qur'an (2:183-185)
