North Church Provody, Grave blessings. It is joy that in the Paschal season we have the beautiful and comforting tradition of visiting the graves of our repose...d loved ones to proclaim the joyful news of Christ's glorious Resurrection. A joy made even more profound, considering that we today are blessed by the work, effort, love and dedication made by the pioneers who built a community and Church so many years ago. Divine Liturgy will be served at the St. Nicholas North Chruch (10:00 am) followed by a Panikhida for its founders and benefactors. The blessing of the graves (including the pioneer cemetery) will follow a light lunch. I am more than willing to accommodate blessing the graves of any one who has family not buried either at the North Church, or Pioneer cemetery. No one should be left behind. May the memories of our founders and benefactors be eternal. Christ is Risen! Truly He is Risen! Христос воскрес! Востину воскрес!

By God's Grace, we will be back in Sandy Lake this coming Saturday Sept. 22nd for Divine Liturgy at the North Church. Confessions at 9:30 am , Liturgy at 10:00 am.
