Off shore winds blow away from the land and can start without warning; much like the rest of our weather. Inflatables make for tons of fun and cute pictures but can quickly turn to tragedy in open water. Keep them in the pool, under the supervision of a guardian.

Every year many drownings occur while engaged in aquatic activities - where people intended on being in the water, but something went wrong. 20% of people drowned unexpectedly and 2/3 occur in open water. #NDPW2020
