We received $3.5 million from the provincial government today for new learning facilities that will allow UNBC students to complete their full engineering degre...e close to home in the North. The funding will help us increase our use of existing classroom space and teaching laboratories, and create a centralized collaboration space for programs starting in September 2019, when UNBC students can start the first full civil and environmental engineering degree program in the North. Melanie Mark, the Minister of Advanced Education, Skills and Training was at the University today for the announcement.
