DELINE: A maintenance crew is in the community working to identify and resolve the issue that has resulted in some customers being without power this morning and early afternoon. Power will be restored as soon as possible. There will be rotating outages in the community to help keep people, property and equipment safe until the situation returns to normal. Colville Lake outage -- power will be out until a mechanic arrives in the community this evening. Customers are asked to open the main feeder on their home or business until after power has been restored to reduce demand load. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

Inuvik update: The instability of the electricity system in Inuvik today is related to instrumentation issues at our liquified natural gas (LNG) facility. We are now running diesel generators as back up to try to eliminate any further outages while we troubleshoot those issues. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Hay River's Campground Christmas gets underway tonight and runs all weekend between 6 pm and 10 pm. NTPC elves have decorated Campsite B5 and expect that it will be just one of the outstanding displays for visitors to view. See the before and after!

Fort Simpson-NTPC wishes to advise the residents of Fort Simpson of a planned power outage. This outage will be from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm Saturday November 21st, 2020. The outage will affect Deneyoua Drive and Villeneuve Vista

Whati update: A line crew is scheduled to arrive in the community at approximately 10 pm this evening to identify the cause of the partial outage and then restore power. Thank you for your continued patience.

Wha Ti partial outage - a problem with a transformer at the power plant has caused an outage for approximately half the customers in Wha Ti. The line crew will be dispatched from Yellowknife ASAP. Thank-you for your patience while we work to safely restore power.
