It's the most wonderful time of the year, and our little downtown is starting to look rather festive! A massive thank you to the amazingly talented @mirpyfaces for making our windows sing with Christmas Cheer.

It's pretty common for us to make a 'thank you' post on Sunday. As we take care of the less glamorous tasks and the behind-the-scenes prep, it's usually a good opportunity to reflect, so the gratitude is obviously front and center today. This weekend was a different one, and we just want to say (you guessed it) thank you to all of you who not only came out to dine, or to have a few drinks, but came ready and willing to physically distance, to understand and appreciate our ne...w circumstances, and to follow the guidelines that we have laid out. We are fortunate to have had another wonderful weekend of doing what we love, and that can only continue if we all keep working together. Thanks again, Central Alberta.

We've had this cocktail on our menu for the entirety of our existence. We just never thought it deserved a photo, apparently. This is the Collared Dove. Named after the official bird of London. ... (See? Avian branding.) This signature is a loving cross between two classics, the Pimm's Cup and the Jungle Bird. A true guest favourite, it is made using Pimms, Amaro, London Dry Gin, passion fruit, lime, guava, pineapple, and orange. Playful, bittersweet, and entirely temperate. Unlike our winters.

We've got a brand new, big, bold Gin on our back bar, and it's Albertan. @lastbestbrew Savage Love Gin clocks in at a hearty 47%, and boasts a tonne of flavour, with an impressive botanical list consisting of Juniper, Coriander, Sweet Orange, Green Cardamom, Licorice Root, Angelica, Lavender, Sage, and Lemon. Makes an incredibly beautiful Negroni or Martinez, trust us.

We wont be offering a DIY Cocktail kit this week. It has been such a blast creating weekly cocktail recipes to send into your homes and the response from everyone has been consistently amazing! Were just in the final stages of implementing some groovy improvements to our DIY Cocktail kit program, and we cant wait to share them with you soon!... Thanks again for all the support!
