Dearest customers, friends and family, these difficult and shockingly unusual times have made us vulnerable but tought us a few lessons of what's important and what is not. We've humbled ourselves and realized how blessed we are that we are all here, safe and healthy. We've become less materialistic, but more caring and loving. While events like 1st communions, baptisms, weddings, bar mitzvahs, etc. and places of worship were hit real hard, not to mention so many businesses,... including our own, we realized there's even worse out there - like being in a hospital or an old age home all alone. Far worse yet, is losing a family member or a friend, by any cause, and not being able to pay your respects or say your last goodbyes to show your appreciation and love. Being deprived of honouring someone with the funeral they deserved leaves a void that will not be easily forgotten. The above being said, let's reach out to people that live alone and are in need. Call them and assure them that everything will be fine and that they're not alone. CARE ! LOVE ! GIVE ! It will make us better people and the good Lord will respond to our prayers and love ! March 25th,1821- National Greek Independence Day Because Greeks had real values, they believed in themselves and fought for their country, for family honor, but mostly for freedom and faith in our Lord Jesus. Thus, they received the blessings of God our Lord and won, becoming forever heroes in history. Today, do we really know why we celebrate this, our National Independence Day?... Do we really feel honor for our heroes, our faith, our country and within our families? We need to take a moment to think. In order to continue to have our Lord's help and compassion, especially in these very difficult and testing times which we live in today, we should live with real values just as our heroes did. When a family instills in its members all those values, then it deserves the blessings of our Lord and also respect and honor which will be passed on to the next generation and never be forgotten.
