Friday OCHT was granted Preliminary Accreditation for our Massage Therapy Programs by the Canadian Massage Therapy Council for Accreditation (CMTCA). This was a giant project that truly rested on the shoulders of our Massage Therapy Program Co-ordinator, Leigh. The submission she sent in was made up of 95 sections and the documentation was thousands of pages in length. Congratulations to Leigh and all of entire Massage Therapy Faculty that assisted her with the submission.... The Full time, Accelerated and Advanced standing Massage Therapy Programs at Ontario College of Health and Technology have been granted Preliminary Accreditation, the first step in the CMTCA accreditation process. Following a site visit to verify compliance with the standards, CMTCA will issue a final accreditation decision. More information can be found at: www.cmtca.ca

February is EMS Appreciation Month in our Massage Therapy Clinic

If you are someone that has graduated with a degree in Kinesiology, did you know that we have designed a special Accelerated Massage Therapy Program that starts April 27th to compliment your prior learning? Our Culinary Arts Program is second to none. The program co-ordinator is the most knowledgeable chef I have ever met and he loves to pass on his secrets in the kitchen to students. Our 11 month Culinary Arts program is only $6300.00 and starts April 27, 2020. Book a tour and meet with the chef by March 1st and receive a $1000.00 tuition grant. The class size is only 6. Yes the College is beautiful and we have a cafe and a gym and free parking but do you know why our programs are so great? We have the best instructors in every program. They are experienced, knowledgeable and patient. You might not remember everything you learned in a program but you sure will remember how you were treated!! OK the Christmas Decorating has begun!! Maybe it's the early snow but we sure are filled with Christmas Spirit already. We'll finish off tomorrow morning and by lunch time the cafe will be a holiday wonderland extravaganza!!

Today is Mask Fit Testing day at OCHT. This means that the students are getting close to starting ride outs with the local Emergency Medical Services. These masks will help keep them safe.
