In this demonstration, see how simple and accessible hardware such as the Raspberry PI can be used with our real-time simulator to develop and test state-of-the-art engineering research. On February 12th at 11 AM EST | 5 PM CET, we will be using a bunch of Raspberry PIs that can communicate among each other and with the real-time simulator using IEC61850 GOOSE messaging. The Raspberry PIs run a distributed control system to control a microgrid model in real-time. The microgrid model is simulated using Simulink on our flagship software RT-LAB.
