Daily Deals were created in the early spring to compensate while we were in Lockdown 1.0. We would post a packaged deal on our Facebook page and followers would immediately message us through FB Messenger with their order. We accepted EMT and delivered throughout Brantford and Paris the next day. It was super fun (and stressful as we sometimes sold out in minutes!) It was a fast turnaround and we loved seeing all the smiling faces and rainbow posters in windows. The Popcorn ...Club was a bit of a spin-off once the markets re-opened in the summer. We sent out an email every other Thursday with packages, curated collections, new flavours and offers and accepted orders via email only. Orders were accepted until Saturday at 5pm, EMT the method of payment and deliveries were made the following Wednesday through Brantford and Paris and pick-up was available at the markets. Enter Lockdown 2.0. Pick-ups are paused right now and we’re pivoting (again) as receive new information daily. Here is what we know. It’s been a long week for families so we’re having a Daily Deal tomorrow with delivery on Saturday so your lovely families can enjoy a popcorn and movie night this weekend. Happy New Year, Popcorn Pals! After much consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to close both our markets for the duration of the province-wide lockdown. What does this mean? DAILY DEALS DELIVERED TO YOUR DOOR. Don’t fret, your favourite snack will still be available for you as you hunker down and continue to binge watch! (Did you hear that they decided not to remove ‘The Office’ on Canadian Netflix? And we heard ‘Soul’ pulls on the ‘ol heart strings on Disney+!) K...eep an eye on our Facebook Page as we prepare for a Daily Deal near the end of this week. We’ll continue to provide more details for the month as they come including something fun for National Popcorn Day! Thanks for your continued support! We appreciate YOU.

As we reflect on 2020, and look at our ‘top nine,’ we can’t help but feel immense gratitude. - You kept us afloat this year; you supported us, cheered us on and waved from your windows. You sent your friends and family to our page or our markets. You provided flavour ideas and shared stories about where you were sending your popcorn or who you’d be sharing it with. Buffalo Breath brought two expectant mothers into labour this year, Original Kettlecorn fl...ew down in packages to the southern United States and to the west coast in Canada, and our Gourmet S’mores Popcorn was enjoyed around numerous summer campfires. You sent beautiful messages following the shoulder spill, you purchased gift certificates for later use, you patiently stood in long lines at the markets. You welcomed our family into your family with a simple bag of popcorn. For that, we thank you. Cheers to you! Take a deep breath as you remember the compassion, hard work and sense of community you felt this year and buckle yourself in for 2021! Popcorn garland dates back to the mid-1800s when people used to decorate their Christmas trees with dried fruit, nuts and our favourite snack. Start the tradition with your family (or carry it on) with our Make-It-Yourself Popcorn Garland Kit.
