Despite all that is happening around the world with COVID, the Australian Baseball League is underway downunder and the Blue Jays have sent out a couple of prospects to join my team the Canberra Cavalry. ... In Australia, are outfield prospect Chavez Young, who at the beginning of 2020 was the Jays 28th ranked prospect, and 2nd baseman Samad Taylor, who back in 2019 was a top 20 prospect in the Jays system. Some may remember the highly regarded Taylor being picked up at the trade deadline in 2017, along with Thomas Pannone, in a trade for reliever Joe Smith from the Cleveland Indians.
