An awe inspiring turnout in this weekends Black Lives Matter protest against police brutality in support of George Floyd. I couldn't count how many, but it could have been 100,000 people or more! Rising up in Montreal against institutionalized racism, violence, and police brutality - in honour of George Floyd and others who have been murdered by those sworn to protect them. This was an incredible rally held in the middle of a pandemic, which certainly complicates things. But organizers repeatedly asked people to spread out and keep distance, and wear masks! To be silent is to be complicit.
