Impacted wisdom teeth can result in pain, damage to other teeth and other dental problems. It can cause tooth decay, gum disease and infection because it’s harder to clean since it’s growing out and hitting the surrounding teeth. #dentist #wisdomteeth #oralhealth

Mouth sores, also known as "canker sores", are small, shallow lesions that develop on the soft tissues in your mouth or at the base of your gums. They're not contagious, and don't occur on the surface of your lips. #mouthsores #dentist #oralhealth

Another day at the office with the best team!!

Park Home Dental 03.04.2020

Exciting news! To Our Wonderful Patients, We are pleased to announce that Park Home Dental will officially be re-opening on Wednesday, June 3! Under the guidance of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, dentists in Ontario will now be able to re-open their practices for routine care and treatment (this includes regular check-ups and dental cleanings).... Rest assured, the safety of our patients and staff is of utmost importance. Over the last few months, we have implemented additional safety measures and precautions, in addition to our strict infection control protocols already in place. Here are some of the new measures to expect at your next visit: - Detailed COVID-19 pre-screening of all patients prior to their appointment and when they arrive - Staggering appointment times to limit the number of people in the office to promote physical distancing - Hand sanitizer stations to minimize the spread of germs - Plexiglass barriers in the waiting room to protect patients and staff - An antiseptic mouthrinse (mint flavoured) before every procedure to reduce the viral load in the mouth - Air purification systems to ensure the cleanliness of the air If you have an upcoming appointment, you will be contacted by our office to confirm the date, as well as be provided with more information on the screening process and what to expect when you arrive. As always, if you have any questions, concerns, or would like to book an appointment please contact our office by phone or email and we will respond as soon as possible. We are so excited to welcome you all back and see your smiling faces again! Dr. Schwartzberg and the Park Home Dental team
