Parkside is putting together some treats for a local senior home which means chocolatescookies and other senior friendly items are needed. There are many who have no family and this can be very lonely for them as they feel forgotten. The items have to be packaged and sealed for safety but homemade cards are also very cherished. To our valued customers , As you all know we have to have guidlines In place to reopen We will be implementing these rules to keep our staff and you safe From covid 19 the best we can NO WALK INS AT THIS TIME NEED TO BOOK APPOINTMENT ... As you are aware we Will be asking every client these questions when you arrive for your scheduled appointment if you have a cough or sore throat or fever or any flu like symptoms shortness of breath , you will need to rebook your appointment. All stylist will be checked for temperature before shifts Hand sanitizer will be at front desk and stations for your use please use before your appointment and after Masked are to be worn by both you and your stylist at all times please bring yours In if you have one , otherwise you can get one from us our cost 1.50 added to you service There will be no waiting area ,You will have to wait outside or in your car till you stylist calls you in , this is to Eliminate to many people in shop at one time and to give Your stylist time to clean area before your appointment . We are staggering shifts to maintain Physical distancing of minimum 6 feet between stations we are Fortunate to have more space than required We will be increasing all services To help cover the necessary cost As things get better we will relax on guidlines Hopefully things will get back to normal soon ,for now let’s keep everyone safe Thankyou for your Cooperation. A very long read get your glasses your water and likely lunch and dinner !!! It is important to know the changes for future hair appts and what to keep in mind when we open . This has not yet been determined and at this time looks closer to first or second week in June we are waiting for Worksafe BC and the Western Beauty Council to advise on this . To our clients at Parkside: we are following suit with the health Canada recommendations,advising our clients to reschedule hair services if you’re feeling unwell or have travelled outside of Canada in the last 2 weeks. Also we are going a step further and asking clients to not come in if you have been around someone who’s been sick or someone who has travelled out of the country in the last 2 weeks. We have staff and several clients with compromised immune systems so we appreciate everyone taking those extra precautions to keep them healthy.
