Hi everyone, We are not included in this most recent phase of Manitoba’s reopening plan (phase 3), so we are not yet able to open the theatre as according to Manitoba government guidelines. We are hoping to be able to reopen during phase 4, but do not yet know when that will be. Hope we can see you all soon as we are looking forward to starting our season of movies for 2020!
To our valued movie-goers and guests, We are excited to open for another year of movies, but in these unprecedented times we will have to adapt to a new normal. As we have seen over the last couple of months we will have to make some changes for the health and safety of our staff and guests. We at the Park Theatre are working to develop a safe plan to reopen this summer, but as of right now our opening date is unknown. According to the Government of Manitoba’s Pandemic and E...conomic Roadmap for Recovery, movie theatres are not included in the first two phases of reopening businesses in Manitoba on May 4th and June 1st. Each phase will be implemented on a three to four week basis in order to monitor cases and ensure adequate time between each phase. The Government of Manitoba has stated that upon reopening, movie theatres will be required to adhere to reduced occupancy levels and implement physical distancing measures. We will keep you updated on any new developments as they arise. In the meantime, we hope everyone is keeping safe and healthy, and we look forward to seeing you in the coming months!
